What is a SOC Work Team?
The SOC process relies heavily upon the contributions of individual members of the technical standard work teams. These team members are chosen by the SOC based upon a number of criteria including their technical expertise in the relevant areas, along with their association and geographical representation in Wisconsin.

How to become a team member or draft reviewer
Contact the SOC Coordinator if you are interested in participating. It is recommended that you review the SOC work plan in order to determine whether your expertise and interests correspond with our upcoming projects. For more information about being a work team member or a draft reviewer, see the Technical Standards Process Handbook.

Team Member Evaluation of Participation

The Standards Oversight Council continuously endeavors to be as responsive to the changing needs of the SOC process as possible.  After each SOC work team is completed, the team members are given the opportunity to fill out a questionnaire that asks them to indicate how well the process worked and where changes could be made in the future. To see what individuals who were working on the standards listed below think about participating on a SOC Work Team download a copy of the Team Evaluation report that summarizes their responses.

  • Shoreland Habitat Restoration (Interim 643a)

  • Filter Strip (393)

  • Wastewater Treatment Strip (635)

  • Nutrient Management (590) {2002 Revision}
