SOC Coordinator Duties
The SOC Coordinator is contracted by the Standards Oversight Council to fulfill the following obligations:
- Complete surveys / newsletter updates / Web Page development and other communications
- Assist teams with meeting coordination / draft writing / literature reviews / minutes / facilitation
- Distribute drafts / maintain mailing lists
- Advise & assist SOC / meeting minutes
- Track team activities
This contract is administered through the Wisconsin Land and Water Conservation Association (WLWCA) in order to avoid possible conflicts of interest with the three agencies that are currently contributing funds for the position.

Technical standard teams rely heavily on volunteer participation by those planning, designing or using conservation practices in Wisconsin. To help ensure high quality technical standards and statewide use, the most qualified people are encouraged to get involved.
