Status

The NRCS has released the updated 580 Standard and three new specifications that the work team developed

• Specification 5, Construction Site Pollution Control

• Specification 20, Soil Bioengineering

• Specification 21, Structural Measures For Streambank and Shorelines

The new 580 and Specs are available on the NRCS webpage.

It is expected that this project will be finalized in the coming months.  The Team continues updating the related companion documents located in the Wisconsin supplements of the NRCS Engineering Field Handbook.  The documents will be released as they are completed.
